Volt is immediately hiring an Administrative Assistant / Drug Test Coordinator for a large manufacturing company in San Diego, CA.
As an Administrative Assistant you will:
- Assist with managing DOT drug and alcohol testing programs and customer mandated testing programs
- Coordinate, and schedule pre-employment, random, post accident, reasonable suspicious and periodic tests
- Monitor the random testing pool and ensure tests are completed on schedule
- Ensure testing meets DOT and company policy standards
- Assist in preparing for audits and inspections
- Manage third party testing programs
Hours are Monday to Friday from 8am - 5pm. This position requires you work full time onsite. Position is long term indefinite temp at this time with the ability to apply for internal spots at any time. The company offers a great company atmosphere.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1 – 2 years of administrative experience
- Higher end of the pay scale for candidates with DOT drug and alcohol compliance program experience but definitely not required
- Strong communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to pass a 7 year criminal background and drug screen
Pay Rate: $23-29/hr depending on experience (higher pay scale are for those with DOT D&A program experience but again not required
