Job Description

Title: Revit Modeler

The Concord Group (Concord) is a leading development and construction consulting firm specializing in Owner’s Representation, Cost Estimating, Schedule Management, Infrastructure Management, Building Performance Service, Commissioning, Building Energy Management, Energy Modeling/Life Cycle Costs, Facility Condition Assessments and Sustainability/ESG Management and Medical Equipment Planning. With offices in Chicago, Milwaukee, Grand Rapids, Atlanta, Columbus, Melbourne and Las Vegas, we have provided services for over 30 years to education institutions, governmental agencies, healthcare systems and the private commercial sector. We are looking for a Revit Modeler to join our Medical Equipment Planning team with a minimum of 5 years’ experience. This person could be based in Atlanta, Chicago or Milwaukee.

Overview

The Revit Modeler, specializing in medical equipment planning, plays a key role in healthcare design and construction projects. This position focuses on creating accurate Revit models and equipment layouts, collaborating with project teams to ensure seamless integration of medical equipment into architectural plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain Revit models for medical equipment layouts in healthcare facilities.
  • Collaborate with healthcare architects, project managers, and BIM teams to plan, organize, and specify medical equipment placement.
  • Coordinate with clients, vendors, and contractors to ensure accurate placement and integration of equipment within the design.
  • Produce and update equipment drawings, cut sheets, and lists using Revit and medical equipment planning software.
  • Assist in the development of furniture layouts and contribute to interior design decisions for optimal equipment integration.
  • Participate in BIM coordination and project meetings, providing input on equipment flow, operations, and compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Support project teams with drafting, detailing, and documentation related to medical equipment and interior design.
  • Attend site visits to verify equipment and furniture installation and ensure alignment with project specifications.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit, Bluebeam, and related BIM software.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with diverse project teams.
  • Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare design or medical equipment planning is highly desirable but not always required; some firms offer on-the-job training.
  • Ability to interpret architectural drawings and integrate equipment requirements into building models.
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and site verification as needed.
