JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our hair stylists, barbers and cosmetologists have a natural friendly and upbeat attitude with a commitment to provide an unforgettably fun and exciting haircut experience for all the families that visit this salon. They must also have a keen ability to listen to and communicate with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction. Finally, you must be able to provide full salon services, including hair cutting, shampooing, blow drying, and styling.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide full salon services, including top notch hair cutting, fades, shampooing, blow-drying, and styling
• Create a fun and upbeat atmosphere in the salon
• Listen and communicate clearly with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction in the client consultation
• Form bonds with loyal customers, remembering their hairstyle preferences as well as add notes from the cut into system
• Identify any issues in the scalp and educate what retail product would be best to help the issue
• Apply OSHA standards and State Board Regulations across all beauty stations and maintains of salon
• Operating the Point-of-Sale software system

QUALIFICATIONS:

• An Ohio Cosmetology or Barbering license in good standing
• Up-to-date with industry trends
• Desire and willingness to work with children
