Job Description Job Description Rosewood Manor in Rochester, NH is currently seeking experienced caregivers to become medication certified by our in-house nurse trainer for two shifts (3-11 pm, and 11 pm-7 am). We are actively recruiting new team members with a passion for kind and compassionate care. Rosewood Manor is seeking dedicated and dependable individuals who enjoy working with the elderly population and who are comfortable with dementia & health related disorders. Our staff strives to work collaboratively as a team and aim to foster an environment of support and growth. Our management team is led by licensed nursing staff certified to provide on-site training. Additional training is available, including dementia training and more. Salary is based on experience and subject to increase with additional certifications or licensure. Competitive pay and a FREE MEAL prepared by our Executive Chef for every shift that you work The food at Rosewood Manor is always beautifully prepared and tastes delicious Job Qualifications: Knowledge of basic care principles and techniques Experience providing patient care in a healthcare setting is preferred, but willing to train the right individuals Familiarity with infection control practices The ability to operate and assist with medical devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, electric hospital beds, hearing aids, dentures, etc. Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate and empathetic attitude towards residents and families Job Responsibilities: Provide thorough, compassionate, high-quality patient care under the delegation and direct supervision of Rosewood Manor's Registered Nurse. Assist residents with ADL’s including bathing/grooming, dressing, ambulation & transfers, and incontinence care. Ability to monitor and records vital signs & weight Administer medications according to best practice, certification, & scope of practice. Maintain a clean and organized resident environment Communicate effectively with residents, families, and other health professionals while adhering to professional standards.
