The Ambulatory Surgery Center RN Manager will guide an ASC located on a regional medical center campus and support an organization recognized for safety and patient satisfaction with accreditation aligned to AAAHC and CMS standards.
Reporting directly to a VP of Physician Services, the Ambulatory Surgery Center RN Manager oversees all ASC staff across pre-op, intra-op, PACU, sterile processing, and front-office functions. The role will lead charge RNs, clinical educators, and administrative coordinators while ensuring cohesive operations across perioperative services.
On the clinical side, the Ambulatory Surgery Center RN Manager drives staff education, competency validation, infection prevention, and quality improvement initiatives that elevate outcomes and patient satisfaction. Operationally, the position manages budgets, staffing models, block time, throughput, regulatory readiness (CMS/AAAHC), data analytics, and physician relations to optimize performance. The Ambulatory Surgery Center RN Manager ensures best practices in scheduling, pre-op assessment, OR utilization, recovery, and discharge while advancing EMR workflows and policy development.
